Popular video game developers EA Sports received major backlash from consumers when they realized the company had removed the name of embattled professional quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, from one of the songs on the Madden 19 soundtrack. EA Sports is an affiliate of the National Football League. Despite the company's almost immediate apology, many believe it's executives are working with the NFL to blackball the athlete who, in 2016, began a silent protest against the murder of unarmed black men by police officers. As of today, Colin Kaepernick has not been picked up by any of the 26 teams in the league. "Kap" has a current collusion lawsuit against the NFL.
