Music lovers are filled with excitement, as the four time Grammy award
winning producer Tony 'CD' Kelly, releases the '1st
Quarter' Riddim to the delight of dancehall reggae lovers
everywhere.....
K..Licious Music Group, Tony's label, has produced some of
dancehall and reggae's most successful singles, albums and collaborations. His
success as a producer however, has not been limited to one genre. His catalogue
boasts an impressive list of mainstream artists he has produced, such as
BeBe & CeCe Winans, DMX, Run DMC, Kanye
West, Flo Rida, and the lists goes on. Among others,
Tony Kelly's Midas touch helped propel dancehall icon Shaggy's
'Hotshot' album to diamond status. He also had a hand in Beenie
Man's 'The Doctor', 'Art & Life', 'Back To
Basics', 'Tropical Storm' and Sean Paul's
'Like Glue', for which he won a BMI Award as writer and
publisher.....
For almost three decades, Tony 'CD' Kelly has kept the dancehalls jumping
with riddim after riddim. From the 'Book Shelf' & 'Unda Wata'
Riddims, to the 'Buy Out' Riddim which spawned popular hits for many
dancehall artists including Mr Vegas and the legendary
Buju Banton. ....
The K..Licious team, under the direction of Tony Kelly,
are doing things a little differently in 2012. The label has signed for the
first time, four talented artists, three of whom will be making their debut on
the '1st Quarter' Riddim. Siblings Malica & Atiba,
Italis and Dre Zee have all signed to
K..Licious Music.....
The label's songstress Malica, featured on the riddim,
is telling it like it is with the self assured track, 'Best He Ever
Had', a favorite amongst the confident divas. Italis, the
artist who was once nicknamed Buju Kid for reasons which will be apparent
shortly, explains people's motivation with his single 'Money', while
sing-jay Dre Zee is not a bit disappointed that his 'Good
Good Girl' seem to have gone bad. ....
This riddim also features veteran dancehall hotshot
Shaggy and newcomer Shaki, Beenie
Man featuring Malica, Future Fambo, General Degree, Mystic,
Denyque, and Notch.....
The '1st Quarter' Riddim is full of vibes to say the least, but
what else would one expect from Tony 'CD' Kelly!
....
It's K..Licious!....
